A painter or decorator can often find it difficult to wallpaper or paint a wall completely that has a radiator secured to it. A decorator may choose to paint or wallpaper just beyond the edges of the radiator which are accessible without the removal of the radiator from the wall but this can be a fiddly exercise and the undecorated part of the wall may be visible from certain angles, thus providing a poor finish to the work. Therefore, a decorator will often choose to temporarily remove the radiator from the wall to enable easy access to all parts of the wall thereby enabling complete painting or wallpapering of the surface to provide a professional finish.
Furthermore, radiators can be heavy, requiring multiple pairs of hands to safely remove a radiator from a wall surface. The radiator support of the present invention enables the radiator to be supported close to the wall thereby enabling a single individual to remove and reinstall the radiator from and to the wall.
The present invention provides a temporary support for placing in front of a radiator that is to be removed from a wall surface to allow painting or wallpapering of the wall behind the radiator. The support is particularly beneficial because it allows the radiator to be removed from the wall without having to disconnect the pipes and drain the radiator of water.
